I did also use a chemical cleaner on the white

@@WasaMada yes sir , basically what you did was a sgtc wich stands for spark gap tesla coil that is the old school method , now what you need to try is to make a tc using transistors there are a lot of methods to make a solid state tc maybe if you don't have much electronics experience you can start with a "slayer exciter" you can look into it and you will find the schematic very easy , on the other hand if you do have electronics knowledge I would recommend you to look into the push pull sstc by tefatronix , I made a few vids about it , ask me whatever you need I can help

And I actually could use some guidance on my secondary coil….long story, actually short story I’m too cheap to buy magnetic wire, and I tried to salvage wire from a transformer, was going great until I almost finished and the wire broke fml,,,, price for being cheap

@@WasaMada @LilMadJ Oh cool , I am also very cheap I never bought wire , I took it out a solenoid valve I found buried on my backyard , the thiner the wire the better , if your wire is too thick and you have not much turns your resonant frequency might be too high , and higher the frequency makes it dificult to tune the thing right , but I recommend you to lok ito Tefatronix SSTC he made a push pull style sstc that works very well I did very simplify version of his , also c t magneticitist chanel he has a lot of cool explaining and is allways down to help

Thanks, it was quite the renovation but it turned out amazing, we redid two boats so it worked out well, we actually found both boats at the dump so it was a perfect repurpose

Thank you very much, I cannot wait for the rest of the parts to come in and when I can’t complete this build and actually use it to power my trailer, in time I will switch out to better batteries as well as upgrade my panels and inverter, but it’s a start right, thanks for watching I’d love for more subscribers

Michael Gemaly I haven’t finished it yet, hopefully this week, and I have a full video from start to finish I’ll post, the paint was from home hardware and each boat got a different blue because they ran out of the kind we started with, I’ll let you know the paint when I get back to the boats
